3. 3. Our lead lined doors and frames are available in a variety of sizes and lining thicknesses:
• Doors are offered in 16, 14, or 12-gauge galvanneal and 14-gauge stainless steel. A continuous sheet of lead (from 1/32-inch to 1/8-inch thick) is laminated to the door skin and a sheet of high-density polystyrene.
• Standard doors up to 5-feet by 8-feet contain a 1/8-inch lead lining, while doors up to 5-feet by 12-feet contain a 1/16-inch lining. Entire perimeters are reinforced with a continuous 14-gauge channel and/or prepared for specific hardware required for larger applications.
• A 1-1/2-hour fire rating label from Warnock Hersey is offered on TrustShield doors that are 1-3/4-inches thick and contain a 3/32-inch maximum lining.
• Upon request, we can supply a window cut-out and frame kit on fire-rated lead lined doors (maximum visibility of 100 square inches).
• TrustShield frames up to 10-feet by 8-feet contain a 1/8-inch lead lining. Larger frames have 1/16-inch linings. Lead frames also are available with 1/4-inch lining.
