Stainless steel outlasts both galvanneal steel and aluminum, it doesn’t have to be painted, and it resists oxidation without special finishes. In fact, the only long-term maintenance you’ll ever have to do is occasionally wiping them down with water! Labeling requirements-You can choose from polystyrene, honeycomb, or vertically-stiffened cores, and we’ll help you determine the most suitable materials for each order. Polystyrene cores are laminated to the inside face sheets to fill the inside of the door, and we also offer labeled doors with permanently bonded honeycomb or polystyrene cores; you can order doors with 20-minute, 45-minute, 90-minute, or three-hour Warnock-Hersey fire door labeling, as well as vertically-stiffened doors that meet hurricane labeling requirements.

Hardware options-We can manufacture DefendDoor stainless steel doors in 304 or 316 #4 finish in both standard and custom sizes up to 4′ 10 1/4 wide and 12’0” high and frames up to 10’0” wide and 12’0” high. The doors are mortised and reinforced for hardware at the factory, and reinforcements for surface-applied hardware can be drilled and tapped by the contractor in the field. We can also customize your doors with window and louver cut-outs in any size as long as the kit and glass match or exceed the door’s fire rating requirements.
