TrustShield Lead Lined Doors and Frames are Essential for Safe Nuclear Medicine
If you were to rank order the biggest game-changers in medical science, antibiotics would likely be at the top of the list. Nuclear medicine technology such as X-Rays, CT Scans, and MRIs would also rank highly because of their ability to enable doctors and other healthcare professionals to take a look inside the body without having to perform invasive procedures. Radiation therapy is another highly effective weapon against cancer and other chronic health problems.
Radiation exposure is harmful to humans, but the risks outweigh the rewards when it comes to prolonging the life of someone who is already very sick. But the technicians who perform the procedures can face some serious health problems from prolonged exposure. That’s why it’s so important to make sure that they have a safe place to work that observes the proper safety precautions. And our team at National Custom Hollow Metal is a phone call away when you want a quote on custom-built TrustShield doors and frames in two hours or less.
TrustShield Lead Lined doors are custom built with 16, 14, or 12 gauge galvanneal or 16, 14, or 12 gauge stainless steel construction with a continuous sheet of lead from 1/32″ thick up to 1/8″ thick, laminated to the door skin and a sheet of high-density polystyrene.
